Triple Ginger Berry Protein Smoothie

This ginger berry protein smoothie recipe is amazingly fresh and delicious!  I just love the added zip of fresh ginger.  It has really become one of my favorite spices! Ginger has tons of helpful benefits!  Smoothies are a great way to add more fruits and vegetables into your daily routine. 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of triple-berry frozen fruit

  • 1 cup of fresh spinach leaves

  • ½ a ripened banana

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk or water (I prefer ½ a cup of each)

  • 1 pitted Medjool dates

  • ¼ cup of cooked white quinoa

  • 1 tablespoon of flax seeds

  • ½ tsp of grated ginger (I freeze the ginger to make it easy to grate)

  • Add ice 

Directions

  • Add all the ingredients to a high-speed blender. Blend until smooth. Chill until ready to serve.
